We have been working on converting our bicycle to an electric bicycle and as we are donw with the mechanical part of the project we needed a speed controller thats capable of handling 84v battery pack. A speed limiter, also known as a governor or speed restrictor, is a built-in mechanism in ebikes designed to cap the maximum speed the bike can reach. It is typically integrated into the bike's motor controller or firmware and restricts the motor's power output once the bike reaches a predetermined speed threshold. It feeds intentionally distorted data into the machine's electronic controller, so that the system can be triggered to deliver assistive power beyond the 25km/h threshold. During operation, the controller on a de-restricted bike will record a speed lower than the one the bike is actually traveling at, one that doesn't surpass 25km/h.
